Urban Voice’s Task Force cleans up the rubbish in front of Royal Palace

On April 4, 2014, Urban Voice Team hosted task force meeting with the for offering youth chance participating in social development activities by cleaning up the rubbish in green parks along river side in front of Royal Palace. 31 participants were youths from communities and universities students participated in the task force meeting.

The Task Force started from 8:00 am, after that Mr. My Sovann, Urban Voice Team leaders presented Urban Voice project such as campaign activities and how to submit a reports to Urban Voice website.  Urban Voice’s four videos were played during the meeting such as After Flood in Phnom Penh, The City Speaks,  how to submit a report to Urban Voice website, and First Task Force Meeting Activities of Urban Voice.

At 9:40 am, Urban Voice Team and all participants went to the green park in front of Royal palace and = cleaned up the rubbish until 11: 50 am. The activity of cleaning rubbish was interested by the people who were visiting and selling surrounding. Moreover they also helped to collect the trash and kept the rubbish in the rubbish bin.

At about 12:00 pm in the afternoon, Urban Voice Team and all participants got a special lunch together at Biatong restaurant. After that the Team returned back to the Urban Voice office to submit the reports to Urban Voice website.

The Task Force was ended up with happily. The team had took photos together.
