Urban Voice and a Volunteer Group Visited Killing Field, Choeung Ek

On Thursday 1st May 2014 which was an International Labour’s Day, Urban Voice Team was conducted its Monthly Task Force Meeting which were participated by more than 30 university students from different universities in Phnom Penh.

The site visit at Killing Field (Choeung Ek) was conducted at aiming to students and youths to understand and learn more about their seriously sad history which happened in the past recent years, in the purpose of building and reminding their thinking to not allowing thing repeat as the same as​ cruel action. Moreover, it encourages them to participate in social development as well as Phnom Penh.

Followings are the feelings of the participants who have written on the colours fold papers who after arrived Urban Voice’s office such as horror, angry, shocked, regret, sorrow, unbelievable, pity, scared, worry, fear when they knew about this cruel activity.

Finally, on behalf of Urban Voice Team, we are delighted to thanks for all whom attended task force meeting by taking their time, energy and spitrit with us during the the task force meeting.
