Some streets in Phnom Penh were divided into lanes. One lane for cars, one for moto’s with a functional sidewalk. But because of the small streets, people disobeying the traffic laws and increasing amounts of congestion, the traffic in Phnom Penh becomes worse and worse day by day.

Even though the streets are divided into lanes for proper traffic flow, some drivers still did not obey the traffic laws and the signs. Sometimes the Moto side was used by cars when passing, which forces some moto riders to ride on the sidewalk to avoid being hit. Driver’s disobeying the traffic laws cause traffic accidents, a loss of social order between drivers and are the main cause of traffic jams in Phnom Penh.

Obeying traffic laws and regulations is the easiest and best way to improve social order among drivers and develop our city efficiently. Together, as good citizens, we must obey traffic laws and regulations make the streets safer and help make Phnom Penh a more charming city.
