The Urban Voice Team loves green spaces and technology, and so to celebrate the two we are is collaborating with the Phnom Penh Institute of Technology (PPIT) on a green city essay competition. Aimed at high school students, the topic of the essay is: Developing clean cities using green technology.
High school students are asked to write an 800-1000 word essay in Khmer about the above topic.
Essays should be submitted by 31st August, 2013 to #54, Street 1003, corner of street 1988 or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
Ten winners will be selected, on the basis of the below criteria chosen by a committee of four experts: two from Phnom Penh Institute of Technology (PPIT), one from ASEAN Academy Engineering of Technology (AAET); and one from National Committee for Clean City Assessment (NCCCA):
– Be current high school students (2012-2013) with a certified letter from their teacher.
– The essay should be inclusive and politically neutral

In addition to receiving prizes, each winning entry will be featured on Urban Voice, and the ten winners will also be invited to an exclusive lunch hosted by Urban Voice.
The winners will be announced after Aug. 31st, 2013
