2 new more lines of public bus will be put into the operation. They are going run on Mao Tse Tung and Kampucheakrom boulevards, Pa Socheatvong Said.
He also stressed that the plan will submit to the public works and transportation department for consideration and study whether the buses can run on the two boulevards or not. There were approximately 3,000 passengers who have took the first trial bus that have been running since 5 February 2014, he added.
Yet, there is no clear date whether when the two lines are going to run.

On February 5, 2014, Phnom Penh City Hall and JICA had launched the public transportation to run on Monivong Blvd from Chbar Ampov market to the park near Chroy Chongva bridge.
This trial public transportation plan has put into the operation for one month from February 5, 2014 to March 5, 2014. Residents of Phnom Penh are really interesting and strongly support the public transportation plan, and they hope that the project will be successful execution, that would reduce traffic jams and traffic accident in Phnom Penh.

Flooding Campaign Final Map Came Out! From the beginning of the campaign running until ended (August to October 2013), Urban Voice has received 119 reports about flood in Phnom Penh area.
If you look at the map to see the flooding report on our website, you will noticeably see that virtually entire of Phnom Penh areas are flooded during rainy season. Some locations were flooded for several days while other places have flooded for over one week. This caused and affected to traffic congestion for the people’s traveling in Phnom Penh.
